Lazio and Inter are reported targets for Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian, who will be a free agent in the summer.

The Italy international sees his current deal expire at the end of the season and has so far not been offered a renewal by the Old Trafford outfit.

As such, it looks as if his time in England will be coming to an end after featuring only four times for the Red Devils in 2018.

According to a story in the Sunday Mirror, both the Nerazurri and the Rome side are monitoring his situation and will look to tempt him away from the north west next summer.

Although he will be available for free in six months time, their piece also indicates that both clubs may look to make a bid in January in order to stave off any potential bidding war later on.

Manchester United are thought to be willing to sell Darmian for as little as €7m.
