Isco is set to play a much more prominent role in Real Madrid’s starting XI over the next few weeks after sit down talks with Zinedine Zidane.
There have been rumours recently that the Spanish playmaker would leave Santiago Bernabeu either in January or the summer, with Manchester City a potential destination.
But a story in AS has insisted that is not the case with Zidane desperate to keep the former Malaga man.
They say that Isco and the French tactician have held private, one-on-one talks over the past few weeks, with Zidane insisting that he sees the 27-year-old as a vital part of his plans going forward.
Isco has been in and out of the Real Madrid side so far this season, playing just seven times and failing to register a goal or assist.
