Since making his professional debut with Sochaux in October 2018, many clubs around the world have been trying to land Lucien Agoume, also known as ‘the new Pogba’.
Agoume, who turned 17 in February, broke into Sochaux’s first-team in the second half of the season and ended up making 16 appearances in all competitions this campaign, which included nine starts.
Now, according to Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan will sign him to a permanent deal that will cost the Italians €4.5m.
With Agoume’s contract set to expire next season, the Ligue 2 strugglers would have lost him on a free transfer if they weren’t able to offload the talented starlet this summer.
The 13-time France U-17 international is said to be an excellent passer of the ball with outstanding vision and technique.
