Inter Milan reportedly meets with Nicolò Barella's agent | OneFootball

The agent of Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella met with Inter Milan to discuss a potential deal.

That’s according to Sky Sports, who state that Cagliari has yet to budge from their €50m valuation of the player, though Barella’s agent Alessandro Beltrami confirmed Barella wants to join the club.

Inter Milan are keen to beef up their midfield this summer and it’s expected that Antonio Conte’s side will make at least two high-profile signings in that area of the pitch.

Barella has quickly risen to prominence and has earned five caps with the Italian national team after earning his international debut in 2018.

At 22 years old, Barella has already earned 112 first-team appearances for Cagliari, scoring seven goals and adding six assists.

The midfielder started every single match he was eligible for in all competitions this season.
