A basic rule of transfer speculation is that the word of the BBC is as good as golden.
That’s why we can be pretty confident that Inter are interested in Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
The complication, they claim, is that Inter prefer a loan move whereas the Anfield club would be more willing to sell the player outright.
Sturridge is not a regular in the Liverpool team and has struggled for form and fitness under Jürgen Klopp.
He’s shown in the past that he can be absolutely deadly when healthy and playing in a system that suits him
And in a World Cup year, Sturridge will be particularly keen to play as often as he can to boost his chances of being included in the England squad.
According to the Beeb, Klopp could be tempted to sell the 28-year-old if he receives an offer in the region of £30m.
Whether Inter are willing to pay that remains to be seen.
