Hudson-Odoi on the bench as Chelsea face Newcastle

The teenager has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich

Callum Hudson-Odoi has been left on the bench as Chelsea host Newcastle at Stamford Bridge.

Hudson-Odoi started both of the Blues’ last two games, but will settle for a place on the bench with Premier League action returning.

Elsewhere, Kepa continues in goal, with a familiar spine of Antonio Rüdiger, David Luiz and Jorginho.

Mateo Kovačić replaces Ross Barkley.

Newcastle have also selected a strong line-up with Florian Lejeune partnering Jamaal Lascelles in defence.

Ayoze Pérez and Christian Atsu flank Salomon Rondón up front, with Sean Longstaff also brought into the side.
