Sporting Cristal defender Marcos López will sign for San Jose Earthquakes after an agreement between the two clubs.
The 19-year-old is seen as one of the best prospects to come out of Peru in years having burst on to the scene last season.

But now it’s been confirmed by Cristal that the teenager will sign for the MLS outfit before their season kicks off in March.
There’s no news as to how much San Jose have paid for the defender but it is thought that Cristal will receive 20 per cent of any eventual sell-on.
