Victor Wanyama is handed his first start since August as he comes back from injury.

Juan Foyth is given his fourth ever start for the club, with 20-year-old right-back Kyle Walker-Peters also given the nod.

The bench features a host of first-team regulars and Pochettino will hope that he will be able to give some of his stars a full 90 minutes of rest.

The manager stressed that he is taking the game seriously but that the Champions League and the Premier League remain the priorities for his side.

“I think for a club like Tottenham, to be consistent in top four, fighting for the Champions League, fighting for the Premier League is so important for us,” he explained.

“And then, of course, Carabao Cup or FA Cup are important if we can win of course we are going to win.”
