Gonzalo Higuaín is feeling happy again now he’s at Chelsea.

The former Juventus striker lost his way over the course of the last year, first being replaced in Turin and then struggling with Milan.

Now, though, he is back on track. After scoring twice for Chelsea last week, the Argentine has spoken to Sky Italia.

“I’m very happy to be at Chelsea. It’s a great club with a great stadium, a fantastic football experience,” the striker said.

“I hope with time that this team can achieve the results it deserves.”

Asked about his ‘new’ manager, Higuaín was clearly excited.

The 31-year-old worked with  Maurizio Sarri for a season at Napoli, scoring 38 goals in all competitions. Of those, 36 came in just 35 Serie A appearances.

“Sarri? He’s the coach who’s brought out the best of me,” Higuaín insisted.

“I know him well, he knows me well.

“I hope we can return to the level we had at Napoli.”

If that happens, Chelsea fans will be thrilled.
