Ahead of Turkey’s huge Euro 2020 qualifying clash against France, which takes place this Saturday, Hakan Çalhanoğlu revealed where he believes he’ll play next season.
Amid rumours of a Bundesliga return or a Premier League switch, the 25-year-old is confident that he’s not going anywhere.
“Next season I will play again in Milan with the Milan shirt,” Çalhanoğlu told Turkish outlet TR Sport.
“I know of the interest from some clubs, but I am happy here and of my work here.
“I hope to stay for a long time at Milan, but it is a decision that belongs to the club.”
Despite being a regular in Gennaro Gattuso’s starting XI, Çalhanoğlu’s form was often inconsistent. He finished with four goals and 13 assists in 46 games in all competitions.
