América supporters will have to remain patient as goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa’s debut has been pushed back.
Originally slated to start Tuesday’s Leagues Cup semi-final match against Tigres, Miguel Herrera confirmed after training on Monday that Óscar Jiménez will retain his place.

Though Ochoa will travel with the squad to Houston, it’s not clear whether or not he will make the substitutes bench.
El Piojo had commented that Memo is currently lacking match fitness and prefers that he trains all week with his team-mates before making his debut.
Therefore, Ochoa is now set to make his América return against Tigres at El Volcán this Saturday in Liga MX play.
