Guilherme Arana was one of the better players in the Corinthians squad that lifted the Brasileirão title in 2017.
After his heroics, the 22-year-old was sold to Sevilla in an €11m move.
Corinthians have been attempting to bring Arana back this summer but despite his desire to return, negotiations between the two clubs appear to have come to a standstill.
In an interview with Fox Sports, Arana admitted though he’s dedicated to Sevilla and would like to come back to Corinthians, he’s open to moving to other clubs.
“I was happy to see Corinthians try to repatriate me, it shows that I played a good role with them,” Arana said.
“I’m a professional, I’m still with Sevilla, I’m on vacation, and working to prepare for next season in the best way.
“I am a professional, I talk to my family (who are in Brazil). The best decisions are resolved between us. The rest will happen.
“I’ve worked hard, I had my goals, the Brazilian and Olympic Team, but it was not enough.
“Now it’s time to focus on Sevilla, to work hard at the end of the holidays, and to get there in top physical shape to show them I’m here.”
Last season, Arana made 22 appearances for the club in all competitions but featured in just nine LaLiga contests.
