On Tuesday, Hibernian announced the acquisition of talented Rangers winger Glenn Middleton on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old impressed for Steven Gerrard’s side last season, scoring five goals and adding a further five assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.

Middleton decided to join Hibs despite having offers in England and elsewhere overseas.
“He’s direct, quick and will add different qualities to the squad,” said Hibs manager Paul Heckingbottom.
“I think our supporters will enjoy watching Glenn play. From our conversations he’s clearly desperate to play for this club.”
Middleton is under contract at Ibrox until 2023 and Steven Gerrard and Rangers are still confident the winger has a lot to offer the club going forward.
