Giovani dos Santos will reportedly join Liga MX side Chivas after LA Galaxy opted to restructure his contract.
The Galaxy currently have dos Santos, his brother Jonathan, Romain Alessandrini and Zlatan Ibrahimović as their designated players – but are only allowed three in compliance with MLS Rules.

LA are attempting to convince dos Santos to take a new deal that would see his wages drop from $6m to $1.5m dollars.
According to Record, Chivas are said to be preparing an offer closer to that of his previous wages, and a move to Mexico could suit the 29-year-old.
