Los Blancos are the latest club to show an interest in the out-of-contract midfielder
Real Madrid have reportedly made contact with Aaron Ramsey after receiving a glowing recommendation from Gareth Bale.
The Arsenal midfielder will leave north London at the end of the season after the Gunners rescinded a contract offer in November.
It means the Wales international will go for free over the summer and as such has some of Europe’s biggest clubs on his tail.
Juventus and Bayern Munich have both been heavily linked with Ramsey’s signature but a story in the Mirror has indicated that Los Blancos are also ready to make a move for the 27-year-old.
They claim that the reigning European champions have made initial contact with Ramsey’s representatives after Bale urged the hierarchy to bring his countryman to Santiago Bernabéu.
Ramsey was influential on Sunday as Arsenal came from 2-1 down to beat Tottenham 4-2 at the Emirates.
