Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio looks to have found a new club with reports that Porto or Benfica are his most likely destinations.
The midfielder left the Bianconeri after 17 years over the summer after seeing his playing opportunities reduced thanks to an influx of new talent.
The Italy international asked to be let out of his contract and the Old Lady obliged freeing him to join another side for free.
And according to Goal, Marchisio looks set to swap Serie A for Portugal.
Sporting had revealed their interest earlier in the summer and although that move fizzled out, the player was supposedly open to joining another Liga NOS outfit.
It’s thought that the 32-year-old will travel to Iberia this week where he will meet with Porto and then Benfica before deciding on his next move.
