Lucas Paquetá of Flamengo is one of the brightest young talents in Brazil and has been attracting interest from clubs all over the world.

According to Flamengo’s former president, Milan are the latest club to set their sights on the 20-year-old, joining the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool who are also interested in his services.

Kléber Leite said on his blog that Milan will pay the €50m release clause for the attacking midfielder, but will only do so if they are able to sell Suso.

Milan are under new ownership and have been making plenty of moves not only within their front office, but in the summer window as well.

Despite financial troubles, the Italian outfit have already signed Alen Halilović, Pepe Reina, and Ivan Strinić amongst others, and are looking to make their biggest splash yet.

Milan received a big boost a week ago when the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) overturned their two-year ban from European competition. This allows the Rossoneri to play in the Europa League this season, which will surely attract top talent to the club.

Flamengo have already seen two of their best players head to Europe, with Vinícius Júnior going to Real Madrid and Felipe Vizeu to Udinese.
