Former Chivas player Omar Esparza, who was also world champion in the Under 17 World Cup in Peru with the Mexican National Team, announced his retirement from professional football and revealed that he will now begin his career as a coach.

Through his official Twitter account, Esparza announced that from this moment he will no longer play and now will focus on his future on the benches.

“It is difficult to close a cycle or a stage that you have done practically throughout life, but it is exciting to start another with new challenges, new goals,” Esparza wrote on Twitter.

It will not take long for Esparza to find a team, he also announced on his twitter that he will begin as the coach of Deportivo Cafessa of the Second Premier Division in Mexico.
