“In the past offers I had offers from Atletico, Valencia, Monaco, and Milan,” he said.

“Who normally turns down Milan? I did. Today, I would not do it again. But at that time I rejected because I was a well-paid coach.”

Jesus also previously led Benfica to back-to-back Europa League finals in 2013 and 2014.
