Despite signing from Besiktas in January 2018 for an astounding fee of £27m and getting an ample amount of chances, Cenk Tosun has been a complete flop at Everton and one Serie A side believes they can revive the soon-to-be 28-year-old.

According to Turkish sources, Fiorentina are interested in bringing in the Turkish international striker.

This would not be the first piece of business between the two sides, as Fiorentina signed Kevin Mirallas last summer on loan with an option to buy for £7m, though it is likely that they will return him back to the Toffees.

Tosun’s deal would be similar, as they would bring him in on loan with an option to buy should he impress in Florence.

Tosun last scored against Premier League opposition back in late October against Crystal Palace and has scored just eight goals in 41 career appearances for the club.
