FIFA have officially announced the nominees for Men’s and Women’s Player of the Year at the 2019 Best awards.

The game’s governing body started their own awards do three years ago as a direct rival to the Ballon d’Or.

And on Wednesday they confirmed the 10 men and 10 women who would make up the nominees for this year’s prize.

The awards ceremony will held in Milan on September 23.
