Double figures in goals in your debut campaign in a new country is impressive going.
That is what Felipe Anderson has managed, with 10 goals and four assists in all competitions with West Ham.
He hailed it as one of his best seasons yet when sitting down to analyse the year to date.
“I had very good seasons with Lazio but this is a very difficult league so I’m happy,” he told the club’s website.
“It was difficult because the team had a lot of new players so it has been one of my best seasons in Europe.
“Arriving to a completely new team and beating strong rivals with playing well has been very good.
“I’m happy to have adapted quickly to English football, which has a lot quality, and when the team is doing well, the players look better.”
Two more league goals will see him set a new career high, having hit 10 with Lazio in 2014/15.
