Since Carlo Ancelotti’s arrival, Everton has suddenly been linked to a number of high-profile players from Serie A and elsewhere abroad.
There’s little doubt that the Toffees and Ancelotti will splash the cash this summer and, according to Gazzetta di Parma, they are showing ‘strong interest’ in Roma’s Cengiz Ünder.
At just 22 years old, the Turkey international has become one of the more exciting young players in Italy but has been tipped to leave after a disappointing 2019-20 campaign.
Back in January, Calciomercato claimed that Roma would accept an offer of £37m for Ünder after spending just £12m to pry him from İstanbul Başakşehir just three summers ago.
So far this season, Ünder has featured 15 times in Serie A, scoring three goals.
