Everton have joined the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s €30m-rated right-back Thomas Meunier.
Meunier has played second fiddle to Dani Alves at Parc des Princes this term, with the player being heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League since January.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been rumoured to be interested in the defender, but now Telefoot claims that Marco Silva’s side are also keen.
They suggest that PSG will demand €30m for Meunier, whose name came up in conversation between the two sides when they discussed Idrissa Gueye in the previous transfer window.
Negotiations over that deal came to nothing but it’s believed that both sides will re-enter into talks when the season ends and try to thrash out another deal.
It’s thought that Everton would be willing to sell Gueye, but would in turn want €60m plus the Belgian.
PSG on the other hand are looking to part with half that amount of money if Meunier is to be involved in the deal.
