The former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder is free to train with clubs next month, when his FIFA ban expires.
According to the Daily Mail, Everton manager Marco Silva has discussed bringing the former French international into Goodison Park to support Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurðsson.
Nasri spent three years at Arsenal between 2008 and 2011 but enjoyed most success at City where he won two Premier League titles and also the EFL Cup in six seasons.
Samir Nasri is currently without a club, having left Antalyaspor in January after just six months with the Turkish outfit.
Nasri was banned from football for 18 months following an anti-doping violation that stemmed for receiving an intravenous treatment at a Los Angeles clinic in 2016, which was in breach of the World Anti-Doping Agency’s rules.
However, this ban was backdated to 1 July, 2017, meaning that he would be eligible to play at the start of 2019.
