Everton have agreed to sign Turkish striker Cenk Tosun from Besiktas, Sam Allardyce confirmed on Thursday.
Tosun had been widely expected to sign with the Merseyside club for a number of days now, the only hurdle that remained between the two clubs was for them to come to a complete agreement on a fee and that happened on Thursday.
The final deal is believed to be worth £27m.
Tosun, 26, has scored eight goals in 16 appearances in the Turkish top flight this season.
He has 25 caps for Turkey, having chosen to represent his country of origin after playing for the youth teams of Germany, where was born.
Allardyce has been in the market for a striker after an unconvincing return from Sandro Ramírez, who was brought in from Málaga in the summer to help replace Romelu Lukaku.
