Gareth Bale is being offered a way out of Real Madrid by Bayern Munich, who apparently want to sign the Welsh winger on a season-long loan.
Bale has endured a nightmare season with Los Blancos, effectively being forced out of the club by Zinedine Zidane following a spate of injuries and a prolonged patch of bad form.
The former Tottenham man has remained firm in his belief that he can still play a big part in Real Madrid’s future but it looks as if his coach doesn’t think the same.
And now a story in Marca has revealed that Bale is being offered an escape route by Bayern.
The Spanish newspaper says that the Bavarian giants are willing to take a punt on the 29-year-old, as they look to replace the departing Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry.
Apparently Niko Kovac’s side are willing to pay half of Bale’s wages for the season, with Real Madrid picking up the other portion of his €500,000-per-week pay.
