Tottenham’s Argentine trio of Erik Lamela, Juan Foyth and Paulo Gazzaniga are all doubts for this weekend’s crunch Premier League clash with Chelsea.
The north London club host their capital rivals at Wembley on Saturday, looking to end the Blues unbeaten start to the campaign and take themselves level on points with Liverpool in second.
But it looks as if Mauricio Pochettino will have to do without his South American trio after they were all involved in the Albiceleste’s friendly against Mexico on Tuesday evening.
Although they began their trip back to London on a private jet on Wednesday, none of them are expected back at the training ground until Friday, and so are unlikely to be chosen for selection against Maurizio Sarri’s men.
This is however good news regarding Christian Eriksen and Heung-min Son – both are fit and could well start in attack.
