Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri has admitted that there is a possibility that he could join Juventus this summer.
With Blues boss Maurizio Sarri appearing to be drawing ever closer to taking over in Turin, there is heated speculation that Emerson will join him.
Speaking after Italy’s 2-1 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday at the Allianz Stadium, he discussed the rumours that the venue could be his new home.
“I don’t know if Sarri is going to Juve, you would have to ask Chelsea or Juventus that,” he told reporters in the mixed zone.
“For myself, I have a contract with Chelsea and I’m happy here, especially after the Europa League but I haven’t been told anything.
“Everyone says that the Allianz Stadium could be my new home but I’m a quiet person and I’m calm.
“I try not to think about these things.”
The 24-year-old has been in London for 18 months after arriving in January 2018 from Roma for a fee of €20m.
Last season, Emerson made a total of 24 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea and has found himself linked with Juventus in the event that they opt to sell Alex Sandro.
