América defender Edson Álvarez is very interested in playing in Europe and great Dutch clubs love him.
According to Record, Ajax are monitoring Álvarez and are hopeful that they could bring another Mexican to the Netherlands

In addition to players like Chucky Lozano and Erick Gutiérrez, Edson Alvarez would add more Mexican flavor to the Eredivisie.
The arrival of Álvarez would likely depend on whether or not Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt departs for Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Ajax have already contacted Álvarez and there is even talk that Ajax scouts were in Mexico watching the 21-year-old closely.
