Eden Hazard has looked to ease fans’ nerves by claiming that he would have “no problem” with staying at Chelsea for the rest of his career.

The 27-year-old has been flirting with a switch to Real Madrid over the past few months, and only last week revealed he was “torn” between west London and Santiago Bernabéu.

However, after chairman Bruce Buck claimed they would be open contract negotiations with Hazard, the former Lille man has now insisted he would be open to remaining with the Blues.

“I can finish with Chelsea,” he told Sky Sports.

“No problem at all. I am very happy with this club, with the team, my family is happy here.

“So If I don’t go to Spain, it is not a problem. I love the fans – I think the fans love me! What happens in the future, I will be happy, so that’s it.”

Hazard will be hoping to add to his eight-goal tally for the season so far when Chelsea host Manchester United in the early kick off on Saturday.
