Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has rubbished suggestions that Callum Wilson will leave the club in January.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a stunning start to the campaign with six goals so far earning him his debut England call-up.

And those performances have seen Wilson linked with a switch to Chelsea during the winter window.

That though, has been strongly dismissed by Howe.

“Of course [he won’t leave]. From my position, sitting here as the manager, I’m looking to build a team,” Howe said.

“I still feel we are a relatively new team with this group of players and the signings we made in the summer.

“I’m really pleased with how the squad is set up and the structure of it and I don’t want to break that.”
