Dortmund to offer Edin Džeko a Bundesliga return | OneFootball

Edin Džeko is reportedly ‘desperate’ to join Inter Milan, however, he has been offered a German escape route should it not work out.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Dortmund have now been tipped to hand Džeko a Bundesliga return this summer.

Džeko was the Bundesliga’s top scorer with Wolfsburg back in 2010 and won the same honor with Roma in Serie A in 2017, winning the Europa League Golden Boot the same season.

According to many reports out of Italy, Roma are seeking upwards of €20m for the 33-year-old. However, it’s believed that Inter are only willing to offer €12m for the Serie A star.

Džeko could be tempted to join the Bundesliga title-chasers, as he is yet to win a trophy at his current club.

West Ham have also been linked to the player, as they are believed to be offloading several forwards this summer.
