Declan Rice is on a roll for both club and country as England won both of their Euro 2020 qualifiers over the international break, defeating Kosovo 5-3 after taking care of Bulgaria 4-0.
Prior to the September break, Rice and West Ham were victorious in their last two Premier League matches, with an EFL Cup triumph over Newport County sandwiched in-between.
With a big test at Aston Villa, the 20-year-old is confident the Hammers can improve on their impressive start to the Premier League campaign.
“Yeah, the season has started really well, aside from the game against Manchester City, I think we’ve been excellent,” Rice exclaimed to West Ham’s official website.
“We’ve started well and I’m on a four-game winning streak with West Ham and England and I’m looking to keep that going on Monday night!”
Rice also appears to be a huge fan of record-signing Sébastien Haller, who has already bagged a trio of goals in his first three Premier League appearances.
“Seb is a great lad. I’m buzzing for him. We paid a lot of money for him and I’m delighted for him that he’s got his goals.
“All our strikers have always given everything and I can’t say a bad word about them, as they’ve all given everything for the team. Now, we’ve got Seb and he looks really good.”
