Since Miguel Almirón made his Newcastle debut, the Magpies have been in sizzling form, taking 10 of a possible 15 points to seemingly distance themselves away from the relegation conversation.
Fellow former Major League Soccer graduate and team-mate DeAndre Yedlin spoke on Almirón’s instant impact at the club.

“He’s done unbelievable. He’s been great. He’s added a different dimension to our attack,” Yedlin told the MLS website.
“Our attack has gotten a lot less predictable now, which is good.
“We’ve done pretty well [since Almirón joined], been in the best form of our season. So it speaks a lot on him coming.”
Newcastle have now scored 10 goals in their last six matches after scoring one goal or fewer in 10 of their previous 12 games.
The Magpies will next be in action on 1 April when they travel to face Arsenal.
