De Rossi praises Hector Herrera ahead of Champions League clash | OneFootball

Roma captain Daniele De Rossi has praised Héctor Herrera ahead of their Champions League round of 16 clash against Porto.

The two sides meet at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday and De Rossi refused to reveal whether he would be man marking the 28-year-old.

“I think Herrera is the most dangerous player for Porto,” he told Fox Sports. “Maybe the most talented of the team with Brahimi.

“But every team has good players. The coach is the one who decides if we are going to man mark. We will not give away any details.

“Herrera is one of the best players in Porto,” Eusebio di Francesco added when asked about the midfielder.

“He has great international experience and is one of the best midfielders, but we play against the whole team, not just one player.”

The 35-year-old midfielder has found his first-team role reduced this season, but is likely to be called upon for his experience.
