The former England and Real Madrid midfielder unveiled his new side earlier this year, with Inter Miami set to take part in the Eastern Conference in 2020.

Zidane has been without a club after he walked out of Madrid following their Champions League final win over Liverpool in May.

The Frenchman opted to leave the club having won three straight European titles, but since then has been heavily linked with a number of high-profile roles.

Manchester United have been the team most heavily-rumoured to be interested in the 46-year-old but the Mirror are claiming that Beckham is looking to get in early and tie Zidane down to his MLS outfit.

It’s hoped that Zizou would add an extra layer of credibility to the Florida side and would be able to persuade some of the game’s top talent to move to Miami.

Zidane himself is believed to be more keen on staying in Europe for his next job, but according to the story has not ruled out going Stateside in the future.
