Danny Welbeck has suffered a horror injury in Arsenal’s Europa League match with Sporting on Thursday.
The 27-year-old was starting only his fourth game of the campaign for the Gunners as they looked for the three points that would take them into the knockout rounds of the competition.
However, after a clash inside the area, the England international went down for some time and was eventually given oxygen for the pain.

The likes of Mateo Guendouzi and Aaron Ramsey had their head in their hands as the injury looked so bad.
Welbeck was eventually stretchered off after receiving treatment before being replaced by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with conflicting reports suggesting a serious knee ligament or ankle injury.
