Danny Welbeck’s season came to a terrible end in November after being forced to undergo surgery on his right ankle.
However, it appears he’s ready to go for next season after scoring a hat-trick in a closed-door friendly last week.
According to the London Evening Standard, Everton are favorites to land the 28-year-old despite heavy interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
West Ham, Newcastle, and Crystal Palace were also said to be interested in the former Arsenal and Manchester United man.
Welbeck is said to be on £100,000-a-week at Arsenal and it’s believed the Toffees could give him a decent pay raise if he passes a medical.
Since the Gunners can name 12 substitutes for the Europa League final, Welbeck could make an appearance on the bench for his final match in an Arsenal shirt.
