The versatile midfielder was an outcast under Zinedine Zidane but has featured far more prominently this season
Dani Ceballos has admitted his delight at featuring more prominently for Real Madrid this season.
The 22-year-old was something of an outcast under Zinedine Zidane last term and had spoken publicly about potentially leaving Santiago Bernabéu.
But under Julen Lopetegui and now Solari the midfielder has played 15 times in all competitions, and is relishing the fight for places amongst the squad.
“It’s a pleasure to play for this club,” he told Marca.
“I’m very happy to have the minutes that I didn’t have last year
“The squad is very big. We have 24 players, and it’s hard to get in, but if we compete well we will be given our chance.”
Real Madrid are currently sitting in fifth place in LaLiga with their next game being away at Huesca this weekend.
