Cristiano Ronaldo urges former team-mate to join Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo has called James Rodriguez and urged him to join Juventus, according to Marca.

The pair played together at Real Madrid and Ronaldo is keen to be reunited with his former Bernabeu team-mate.

James is currently in the second part of a two-year loan at Bayern though a lack of game-time makes a permanent move seem unlikely.

Juve have been heavily linked with the Colombian international and Ronaldo could be key in tying up a move.

The playmaker, who turns 28 in the summer, scored 36 goals in 111 games while playing alongside Ronaldo in Spain.
