Cristiano Ronaldo is set to miss Juventus’ game with Atalanta on Saturday.

The Portuguese went on to play twice for his country during the international break, scoring four times in games against Lithuania and Luxembourg.

He then confirmed an issue in his knee when speaking to reporters.

It now seems the 34-year-old is still not fully fit.

“In a meeting with Cristiano on Tuesday, he said the injury bothered him again during the second game for Portugal,” Sarri said in a press conference on Friday.

“It’s 99% tomorrow he won’t be available tomorrow.”

Ronaldo has complained about pain in the muscles surrounding his knee.

The forward’s absence is likely to see Argentines Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuaín paired up front.
