Pedrinho and Mateus Vital will leave Corinthians and join up with the Brazilian U-23 National Team to participate in the 2019 Toulon Tournament.
Brazil are in Group B alongside France, Guatemala, and Qatar.
On Tuesday, the Corinthians duo confirmed that they will accept their call-up.
“We did not speak individually with [manager Fabio] Carille or with anyone else,” Pedrinho said.
“They [the board] even authorised it, they understood that it would be good for us.
“We work so hard to make a Brazilian team. It is an accomplished dream.
“We did not have this conversation, it was something that happened naturally, so they ended up releasing so that we can defend the Seleção.”
The pair will miss four Corinthians matches: Cruzeiro and Santos (Brasileirão), Deportivo Lara (Copa Sudamericana), and Flamengo (Copa do Brasil).
Fagner and Cássio will also be out for an extended period of time as they will be with Brazil for Copa America.
