Yahoo Sports reported on Tuesday that Corinthians forward André Luís will spend the season at newly-promoted Fortaleza.
Timão demanded that Fortaleza be responsible for the entire salary of the 22-year-old. Signed from Ponte Preta back in January for R$2m, the Brazilian did not get on at the club and failed to score in five games.
André Luís was rumored to be leaving for a while and had garnered the interest of several clubs, such as Avaí, Botafogo, Ceará, Chapecoense, and newly-relegated Sport Recife.
The winger started on Saturday in the match against Vasco and was substituted off in the 65th minute.
He was part of the squad that lifted the Campeonato Paulista trophy and has a contract that lasts until 2022.
