With 11 minutes to play, Wolves were in the driver’s seat, leading Watford 2-0 with one foot in the FA Cup final.

However, after a Gerard Deulofeu strike and a last-gasp Troy Deeney penalty, the match would go into extra-time, where Deulofeu would complete his brace in spectacular style.

With the two teams set to face off once again this weekend, Wolves skipper Conor Coady admitted that the match will give him nightmares forever.

“I will be honest with you, I don’t think I will ever get over it. It will haunt me for the rest of my life, it really will.

“It was a tough one to take, we were so close. But you have to get over it, you really do and this football club will want to keep on winning games and move on.

“It was a great achievement to get to the semi finals and we want to make sure we learn from it and move forward and learn from it.”

Both Wolves and Watford, in addition to Leicester and Everton, are fighting for the possible Europa League place that could go to the seventh-placed finisher should Watford fall to Manchester City in the final.
