Young Australian Daniel Arzani’s World Cup cameos could be about to earn him a big-money deal.

The winger is the youngest player at this summer’s competition and has impressed off the bench in both of the Socceroos’ games so far.

Currently playing for Melbourne City, it won’t be long before Arzani makes the move to Europe but that could mean him leaving the City Football Group (CFG).

According to the Sunday Times in Australia, the CFG will now launch a huge bid to keep the 19-year-old as he attracts interest from around Europe.

A possible €1.5m fee to take Arzani to Manchester City would be an A-League record but Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica, and Fortuna Düsseldorf are also being linked with the player.

If he did move to Manchester City, Arzani would be loaned out, with sister club NAC Breda of the Eredivisie mentioned as a possible destination.
