On Thursday, Chivas officially announced Óscar Macías has joined newly-promoted Atlético San Luis on loan for the 2019 Apertura season.
The 21-year-old, who was not in Tomás Boy’s plans, played the 2018 Apertura on loan at Ascenso MX side Atlético Zacatepec and the 2019 Clausura on loan at Lobos BUAP.

At Lobos, Macías played in 15 of 17 possible contests, though he only started on four occasions.
