Chivas deny Isaác Brizuela has contracted Covid-19

The players from Chivas are continuing to do their extra-field work from home but some players have still managed to get themselves in the news.

In recent hours, a rumour on Twitter circulated that Isaác Brizuela had contracted the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

The rumour spread so quickly that Chivas themselves took to Twitter to deny those reports.

Chivas posted: ‘Chiva Brothers, this is FALSE. Isaác Brizuela is in perfect health and, like the entire campus, is training from home and has punctually followed prevention measures vs. #COVID19 .

“We urge you not to spread false information and to stick to the club’s official communication.”

Brizuela himself has yet to comment on such rumours.
