Chivas’ 30-man squad for the International Champions Cup

Chivas will get their International Champions Cup journey started tonight when they take on Serie A side Fiorentina in Chicago.

Manager Tomás Boy called up 30 players to his ICC squad, most notably new signings Oribe Peralta, Josecarlos Van Rankin, Oswaldo Alanís, and Antonio Briseño.

Boy will also give Miguel Ponce a chance to impress after Chivas decided to retain him just days after Boy revealed a deal was in place for him to leave the club – likely for newly-promoted Atlético San Luis.

After the Fiorentina match, Chivas will face Portuguese champions Benfica on Saturday in San Francisco, followed by a duel with Atlético Madrid next Tuesday.
