Chelsea may be without one of their key players when they take on Arsenal in Wednesday’s Europa League final.

According to Goal, N’Golo Kanté suffered a knock in training on Saturday and is now a doubt for the game in Baku.

Kanté suffered a calf strain when playing for the Blues against Watford in early May but was close to a return to full fitness.

However, the Frenchman reportedly picked up a knee injury when training with his team-mates this weekend and it is not known whether he will be able to take part in mid-week.

It means Maurizio Sarri could have a sizeable midfield selection headache for the final, especially considering Jorginho is also recovering from a knock sustained in last week’s open training session.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are both definitely out with achilles injuries, while Antonio Rüdiger has undergone surgery on a knee injury.

But in better news, Welsh youngster Ethan Ampadu is likely to be on the bench after recovering from a back injury.
